About Us:

Wine Country Threads is founded by Lori Furlong. Lori has been sewing, quilting, and cloths making since she was a young girl in grade school. She started quilting with grandma in the family farm-house basement.  This was the old fashion quilting (no machines). As Lori grew up, sewing and clothes making became common. Then she returned to quilting with modern programmable sewing machines. Lori combined her love of quilting with her mothers love of painted works. Together they created collaborative compositions of both quilted media and painted canvas.

Lori has forged forward and now endeavors to commercially provide services to customize apparel and other textiles with custom embroidery work as well as the other stitchery skills she can offer.

With extended family members living in Walla Walla Washington, the home of over 150 wineries, we proudly craft our name to incorporate two of our passions: embroidery and wine connoisseurs.
